We are delighted to announce the 2nd South-East Asian Crystallographic Overview And Systematic Training (SEA COAST) workshop in the year celebrating the 60th year of the university. The workshop is organized jointly by King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi (KMUTT), Charles Ballard and Ronan Keegan from CCP4 (STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK), Garib Murshudov from MRC-LMB, UK, and Ruslan Sanishvili (Nukri) from Argonne National Laboratory, USA.

      SEA COAST 2020 will cover the fundamental concepts of macromolecular X-ray crystallography and all aspects of protein structure solution process from crystallization to structure refinement and deposition to PDB. It will feature CCP4, PHENIX, SHELX, Global Phasing suites of programs, molecular graphics, pipelines for structure determination and much more. All software will be presented by software developers. The workshop is designed for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and young scientists both from academia and industry, who have background and/or are interested in protein X-ray crystallography.
