It is located on the South of the Grand Palace\/Wat Phra Kaew complex. It houses a huge Reclining Buddha which represent the position of Buddha when he passed away and went to Nirvana after death.\u00a0 Moreover, Wat Pho contains more than a thousand of Buddha statues that were collected from destroyed temples in Ayudthaya era and old-time temples in SukhoThai era as well as the collections of traditional Thai\u00a0 knowledge regarding to language, cuisine, medicine especially Thai massage. It is also known as the birthplace of Thai massage. You\u2019ll find stone statues showing different poses of massage techniques.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Location:<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sanamchai Road, Bangkok 10200<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Operating hours:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 8:00 am \u2013 18:30 pm\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Admission fee for foreigners:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 100 Baht<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Important note:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Make sure you wear appropriate clothing. Pants or dress\/skirt must extend knee length. Top has to fully cover shoulders. No bare foot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>How to get there from KMUTT:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The best way to get there from KMUTT is to take Uber or Taxi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat Pho is located on the south of the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. It is within a 2-min short walk across the Sanamchai road from the complex.
