It was once the highest peak of Bangkok. It was built long ago before Rattanakosin Kingdom. To reach the peak of the Golden Mountain, you will have to climb 318 steps; however, along the way you will see a line of large prayer bells. Buddhists like to strike them for good luck, happiness and peace. You will experience ring tones all the way up to the top.\u00a0 Once being there, you can observe 360 degrees panorama view of Bangkok.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Location:<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">344 Boripat Road, Ban Bat, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Bangkok 10100 (<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">500 meters East of Victory Monument in the center of Thanon Ratchadamnoen Klang and almost opposite\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\"><a style=\"color: #0070c0;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.renown-travel.com\/daytripsbangkok\/fortsbangkok.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fort Mahakan<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\"><a style=\"color: #0070c0;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.renown-travel.com\/temples\/wat-ratchanadda.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat Ratchanadda<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Operating hours:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 8:00 am \u2013 17:00 pm<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Admission fee for foreigners:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 10 Baht.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Important note:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Make sure you wear appropriate clothing. Pants or dress\/skirt must extend knee length. Top has to fully cover shoulders. No bare foot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>How to get there from KMUTT:\u00a0<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The best way to get there is by Uber or Taxi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By bus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Take bus no.21 from KMUTT to Worachak stop. Get off and walk along Worachak Road until you reach Chakkawat Road. Walk along Chakkawat and you will direct to Boripat Road.
