It stores the largest collection of Thai art and artifacts in the country. The exhibition can be divided into three galleries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thai History Gallery\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hall narrates Thai history spanning from Sukhothai to Rattanokosin periods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Archeological and Art History collection\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This gallery will walk you through the prehistory of Thailand such as Lanna and Sukhothai, then to Ayutthaya and Thonburi and finally to the modern Thai kingdom established in Bangkok.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decorative Arts and Ethology Exhibit<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This session is divided into periods of time and Thai Decorative Art such as gold treasures and precious stones, mother of pearl inlay, costumes and textiles, ceramics, carved ivory, old royal transportation, old weapons and musical instruments, Thai Khon masks, puppets and etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Location:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Na Phrathat Road,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Khet Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Operating hours:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 9:00 am \u2013 16:00 pm (Wednesday-Sunday)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Admission fee for foreigners:<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 40 Baht<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>How to get there from KMUTT: <\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The best way to get there is by Uber or taxi. <\/span> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By bus and express boat<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Take bus no.75 to Rajsingkorn temple. Get on the Chao Praya Express boat to Ta Chang Pier. From the pier, turn left at the first street (Mahathat Road) and walk through the amulet market to the end, then turn right and walk to the end of this road. The huge open space of Sanam Luang will be across the street. Turn left and walk a short distance up the street with the Grand Palace behind you.
