We are excited to announce another training course in macromolecular structure determination,
organized by the same people who brought to you
“South-East Asian Crystallographic Overview And Systematic Training” (SEA COAST) in the past.

The new course, The International Joint CCP4 and CCP-EM School: SouthEast Asian Training,
Education and Assistance in Macromolecular Structure (SEA TEAMS) will combine training in
Macromolecular Crystallography (MX) and Cryo Electron Microscopy (Cryo-EM).

SEA TEAMS 2026 will cover the fundamental concepts of MX and Cryo-EM as well as all aspects of macromolecular structure determination from sample preparation to structure refinement and deposition to PDB. It will feature most of the modern software programs presented by software developers.

A big part of the school will be dedicated to hands-on training sessions where the participants will work on their own data with the guidance of world-renowned experts.

There will be an opportunity to collect crystallographic data remotely at Diamond Light Source (UK).

  • SEA TEAMS 2026  will take place from 13 November  through 22 November  2026  at KMUTT in Bangkok, Thailand.
